Having a Fall Tea Party ♥

7 months ago - 425 views
Having a Fall Tea Party ♥
@mollyannexoxo here! I had this idea where I make a tip on having seasonal tea parties and thought it would be fun to do! Just because it says "tea party", doesn't mean you have to have tea and get dressed up. It can be as formal or as lazy as you like :)

DRiNK -
Just make a hot drink you like (tea, coffee, hot chocolate, cider, etc), and put it in a tea pot or something that will keep it hot.

FOOD-
This can also be as easy or as hard as you want! Since it's a Fall tea party, you can have some fall themed snacks. You could get some store bought cookies or make your own. I think the leaf shaped ones are really cute.
At some stores, they sell chocolate covered pretzels. If you want to make your own, just get a bag of pretzels and some chocolate you like. Dip the pretzels in the chocolate and set them on a cookie sheet and put it in the fridge to harden.
You can make little sandwiches, desserts, cookies, anything! Whatever you like (:

PLACES-
If you live near woods (that are safe!), and are a cold weather kind of person, I think it would be really fun to have a tea party in them. You could set up a little table and chairs, or just use a blanket. Just put the things you want to keep warm in thermoses so they stay warm in the cold! If you don’t live near woods, you can just have a tea party in your backyard.
If you like to stay warm, you can have one inside. Set it up in front of your fireplace, in your room, or anywhere in your house! Put pretty towels or blankets you don’t mind messing up under things you don’t want to get dirty (just in case!)

That’s basically it. This is really a personal preference kind of thing, so have fun. Invite your friends, or just bring a book and get comfy! I hope you all like this, and comment if you want me to do a whole “seasonal tea party” kind of thing  Don’t forget to request on our request set!

au revoir c:

Healthy Meals :)

Healthy Meals :)
It's @mollyannexoxo again! I am really in a tipping mood right now! :) Anyway, this tip was requested by @nomieissoepic so here it is C:

#1- Veggie Pasta

Take some bow tie pasta and cook it the way the directions say. Meanwhile take a bag of frozen veggies and heat them up in the microwave or on the stove ( I like to use the Steamers bags because they already have the cheese or dressing in them and they are just a lot easier).
Once the veggies and the pasta are ready, mix them together. If you use your own veggies, you can melt a little cheese or butter, or use Italian dressing, to use as the dressing for your pasta.

That's basically it! If you want more vegetables, you can use 2 bags of the Steamers.

#2-Meat/Veggie Wrap

Take a tortilla, regular or whole wheat, and spread some cream cheese over it.
Take any kind of meat and put 1 layer of it on your tortilla.
Then, take out some lettuce or any kind of veggies you want (the picture has avocado) and put it on top of the meat.
Roll it all up and cut it in half!

#3- Bagel Pizza

Take a bagel half and spread some pizza sauce all over it.
Put any kind of cheese on top. If you wish, you can add pepperoni or any other pizza topping to the bagel
Put the bagel in the microwave for 1 minute and then your done.

This isn't as healthy as the others, obviously!

#4- Peanut butter/banana sandwich

Toast 2 pieces of bread.
Spread some peanut butter on 1 slice of the toasted bread.
Thinly slice half a banana and put some of those slices on top of the peanut butter.
Drizzle some honey and sprinkle some cinnamon over the top and put the other slice of bread on top.
Cut in half and enjoy!

SiDES
Any will work. You can have fruit, pretzels, carrots, hummus and pita chips.Anything!

So these foods are actually lunch foods, but they will work for dinner too! I think I might try one of these right now!

Recipes are actually from Macbarbie07 on Youtube! Here's the link to the video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TORMTo7FGuI&feature=related

Later Gators!

1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 stick unsalted butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup Nutella
1 teaspoon vanilla

Add the eggs to your butter/sugar mixture one at a time, beating in-between eggs

Add the Nutella and vanilla and beat until they are well mixed in

Beat in the flour mixture (cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and flour) to the rest of the ingredients

Cover the bowl and chill the dough for at least four hours.

When it’s done, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Scoop the dough by about 2 tablespoons full each onto prepared baking sheets( you can use parchment paper to make it easier)Keep in mind they will spread out while baking, so make sure you give them enough room!

Bake cookies for approximately 15 minutes

Let them cool for a little bit, then you can move them to a wire rack

------------------------------

So there you go! Obviously, these take a while to complete, so if you are making these for a special event, make sure you know that it will take about 4 1/2 hours to complete this recipe.

RAiNBOW CAKE ♥
hello everyone, i'm leanne {@leannemaria-x}. i happen to be one of the newest members to theofficialcookbook! i am really thankful for this opportunity & look forward to hearing all your requests. if you have any questions for me, feel free to message me on my personal account or comment below.

today i will give you the guidelines to make the perfect rainbow cake - this was requested by @sarahelizabeth-x3!

iNGREDiENTS ;

MiXTURE ;
2 1/3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
vegetable shortening
3 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups milk, room temperature
lemony swiss meringue buttercream
5 large egg whites, room temperature
2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple gel food colouring

METHOD ;

BATTER ;
◦ preheat the oven to 350°
◦ brush six 9-inch round cake pans with vegetable shortening, line the bottom with parchment paper and brush once again with the shortening
◦ whisk together flour, baking powder and salt
◦ cream the butter and sugar together in a separate bowl with an electric mixer
◦ slowly add the egg whites until combined and then add the vanilla extract and mix again
◦ add the flour mixture and milk in alternating additions ending with the milk and whisk everything together
◦ divide the batter evenly between six bowls
◦ whisk each and add a different food colouring to each to match the shades you want
◦ transfer each bowl of batter into a cake pan and put in the oven for approximately fifteen minutes
◦ remove cakes from the oven and leave to cool on a wire tray for fifteen minutes and then leave to cool off completely

DECORATiON ;
◦ using a serrated knife, trim the tops of each cake to make them all even in level
◦ place four strips of parchment paper around perimeter of a serving plate
◦ transfer the purple layer of the cake onto the plate and spread a scant 1 cup buttercream filling over the first layer with a small offset spatula so it extends just beyond the edges
◦ repeat this process with each of the blue, green, yellow and orange layer
◦ place the remaining red layer on top with bottom-side up
◦ gently sweep away any loose crumbs with a pastry brush
◦ using an offset spatula, cover the top and sides with a thin layer of frosting
◦ refrigerate until set which will take about 30 minutes and then if you want, cover it with another layer of frosting

follow these steps to make this bright scrumptious rainbow cake for any special occasion! it is much easier to make than it sounds.
leanne ♥
